Christmas Eggnog

Christmas is around the corner. Good chance to start delighting ourselves in the culinary pleasures that await us.

Eggnog is a very popular Christmas dessert in America, a real calorie bomb and not recommended for teetotalers. Here we propose Martha Stewart's recipe.

Enjoy the video... Bourbon, dark rum, cognac. Mmmmmm!

Hi Susana and Manolo! Our own Xmas Eggnog sounds like a fine idea. Let's just watch out how much booze goes into it, shall we?

The Bourbon has already arrived direct from the U.S.A.
Manolo, the strongest I drink is a "clara" on Sundays and I don't like champagne, I'll try the eggnog, see if I like it.I hope you all do.
Enjoy the weekend.

Hi, I think this dessert is only for adults (rum, cognac...), isn´t it?

Ferran said...

Yes Lali, only for adults with ID, definitely not suitable for kids. Although Ms Stewart says that "you only drink a small amount of it", you do drink a nice mixture of cognac, bourbon and rum with every portion.
